Photocopy reproduction of typewritten pages. Illustrated throughout with black and white and tinted photographs and maps, several with hand-colored details. A small ink notation on front free endpaper, "MTG p. 52," refers to the mention of Martin T. Grande, a ranching pioneer whose descendant, Andreas Grande was this item's previous owner. Slight rubbing and wear to comb, else fine. No jacket, as issued. "This paper is a historical review of the formative years of the Upper Musselshell Valley of Central Montana. The background happenings and the pioneering people have been combined to make the heritage of this area. Their efforts and their story have made the history of Wheatland County and the western half of Meagher County."
