Octavo (21 cm), pp. [8], 9 - 158, [2]. Signed and dated "Deep Creek 1980" by author on half title page. Tan boards with green quarter-cloth and gilt spine text. Illustrated jacket with $7.95 price and author photo on back. Illustrations by the author, introduction by novelist and sporting writer Thomas McGuane. Red remainder ink speckled on bottom of text block. Minor bumping to spine ends. Jacket shows very slight rubbing. Fourteen fishing tales of the northwest by a highly acclaimed fisherman, author, and most of all, artist. Chatham's lithographs and oil paintings are in private collections of luminaries such as Jack Nicholson and Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen. He is a long-time former resident of Livingston, Montana, and member of the so-called "Montana Gang."
