Undated (circa 1920). Underwood & Underwood photos published by the Keystone Company. Set of 30 stereoscopic silver gel photographs mounted on stiff 3-1/2" x 7" gray cards in black slipcase. Near fine condition with light silvering and minor bowing to a few of the cards, slipcase very good with moderate wear. Photos are mostly from the east side of the Continental Divide, including Two Medicine, St. Mary and Many Glacier areas; photos of the park's eponymous glaciers that are fast disappearing: Grinnell, Iceberg Lake, and a stunning shot of the interior of Blackfoot, which was once the park's largest glacier;and three photos of a Blackfeet camp and dances that were likely staged for the benefit of the photographer and tourists.
