Brown faux leather boards with gilt spine text. White and brown jacket with illustration, "A Steer Outfit." Numerous black and white photographs and drawings. Very slight wear to corners, minor edge wear to jacket with a few small tears. The artist's accounts of his life ranching in Montana, studying art in Chicago, serving in the Army, working as a professional artist back in Montana, etc. Ralston was awarded a Gold Medal by the National Cowboy Hall of Fame in 1978 and inducted in 2012.
