White and brown jacket with illustration, "A Steer Outfit." Numerous black and white photographs and drawings. Jacket shows numerous large tears, one-inch chip from top front and a taped tear running across almost the entire front. The artist's accounts of his life ranching in Montana, studying art in Chicago, serving in the Army, working as a professional artist back in Montana, etc. Ralston was awarded a Gold Medal by the National Cowboy Hall of Fame in 1978 and inducted in 2012.
