This was Harrington's third novel, a darkly humorous thriller that was named a notable book of the year by the New York Times Book Review. Inscribee Tom Cox wrote of Harrington in the Tucson Weekly after the author's death in 1997, "Alan Harrington was a quirky, quixotic genius of a writer whose works, fiction and non-fiction, were always philosophical. One's view of the world was changed after reading him." Dust jacket present. First Edition.
