Quarto (26 cm), pp. 270 plus supplemental plates. All fourteen parts on Isopoda, bound into a single volume with original paper wrappers. Pages are clean and bright, though some have closed tears and show prior attempts at repair. No jacket. Sars was a Norweigan marine biologist credited with systematic classification of Norweigan crustaceans. Not known as a towering intellect, he nonetheless had an excellent memory and good drawing skills (Norsk biografisk leksikon). This comes from his nine volume study of the subphylum.
